FULL MEMBER CRITERIA AND BENEFITS

Full Member Yearly Membership Fee: 

€100 Full Member

€50 Reduced Full Member (for qualifying countries)

Full members in the International Society of Schema Therapy meet the following requirements:

• mental health professionals recognized as psychotherapists in his or her state/province/region and country, based on graduate-level academic training in a mental health field (psychology, social work, psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, mental health counseling, etc.). Full members are allowed to conduct psychotherapy autonomously or under supervision and are licensed (when required) by state/provincial/regional  authorities.
• Full members meet at least one of the following standards:

1. Completed an approved ISST training program and are a certified schema therapist
2. Published research articles, books, or similar scholarly work on schema therapy
3. Enrolled in an approved ISST training program working towards certification as a schema therapist
4. Practice schema therapy and promote and expand schema therapy in substantial ways
