Dr. Susan Simpson is a Clinical Psychologist and Accredited Schema Therapy Trainer/Supervisor with over 25 years of experience using schema therapy with complex presentations and eating disorders.Susan is an advanced Schema Therapy Trainer-Supervisor and director of Schema Therapy Training Scotland. She is a clinician-researcher actively involved in international research studies investigating the effectiveness of Schema Therapy for eating disorders and related topics. She has published research papers on the schema therapy model, and has presented her findings at national and international conferences. Susan is co-author of the books Schema Therapy for Eating Disorders, (Routledge) and Cambridge Guide to Schema Therapy (Cambridge University Press).
