About
I am a Clinical Psychologist, based in Sydney, Australia. I have 20+ years of experience in the field of psychology, both in the academia as a lecturer and in the clinical practice setting. I am an experienced Schema Therapist and through the lens of reflective practice, I help all ages of adults dealing with a broad spectrum of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, interpersonal and relationship issues, specific mental health issues faced by the LGBTIQ+ community of Australia, and other significant life stressors (e.g., cultural Identity, migration and relocation, diversity and discrimination, perfectionism, and trauma related issues). I am also trained as a couple therapist and I use Schema therapy framework along with Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples learn the skills to express vulnerable emotions to each other and improve communication patterns. I received multiple awards for my academic achievements and community contributions. As a member of the queer community and a Person of Colour (PoC), I integrate a wholistic approach in my therapeutic work. I believe in treating myself and others with respect, kindness, and compassion.
